Extending the means and opportunity of Bible Study
I have a Thrivent Care in Regions project to do a pilot Bible Study by teleconference call. For those who are home-bound or time-bound that cannot make a face to face Bible Study, we are setting up groups that can call in (toll free) at a designated hour. There are 2 subject sessions in place. One is John 13-17 and the other is Matthew 5-7. Each study session is approximately 45 minutes each for 4 meetings. For further information: http://www. LutheransBibleStudy.com I am looking to have some volunteers to lead the studies and looking for people who want to try this out. If this pilot project shows promise, I am assured that funding will be found to make this a permanent option for Bible Study. Also, I am ready to begin a remote face to face Bible Study using audio and video through the Internet with Skype. Anyone with help, suggestions, etc. please reply to: Lutheranbiblestudy@gmail.com Jim Mechtel
